Recent reports confirm that Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani’s latest film Laxmii will be available on the streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar on November 9, 2020. Following theatre closures in March due to a regional epidemic of coronavirus, many films were given Direct-to-OTT releases. However, with theatres opening back up on 50% capacity in many states across India – almost all previous films have seen theatrical release overseas too with limited success – excluding Laxmii which is available in theaters abroad (the U.A.E., Australia, New Zealand and Fiji) with immense success so far!
