Even after beginning mildly well the first few days at the theaters it continued to draw an equally unimpressive audience in its second week of release too. The opening day numbers for Anek were shockingly low, coming in at around Rs.2.11 crores despite the overwhelming promotion and an intense narrative; it seems that this is all due to a very small turnout from people looking for something serious today because Ayushmann Khurrana did give a solid performance as well.
