हनुमान जयंती क्या है?
हनुमान जयंती एक हिंदू धार्मिक त्योहार है जिसमें की भगवान श्री हनुमान के जन्मदिवस को काफी जश्न के साथ मनाया जाता है. हनुमान जयंती हिन्दू धर्म के अनुयायियों के द्वारा मनाया जाने वाला काफी प्रसिद्ध पर्व है।

इसे भारत देश के अलावा अन्य देशों में भी मनाया जाता है. चूंकि भारतवर्ष में हिन्दू धर्म के अनुयायियों की जनसंख्या सभी धर्म के अनुयायियों के मुकाबले काफी ज्यादा है इसीलिए भारत देश में इस पर्व की बहुत धूम धाम देखी जाती है. हालांकि बाकी देशों में भी इस दिन हिन्दू धर्म के लोगों के द्वारा व्रत आदि रखा जाता है तथा इस दिन हनुमान जी का विशेष पूजन किया जाता है।

हनुमान जयंती 6 अप्रैल 2023, गुरुवार को है. साल में दो बार हनुमान जयंती मनाई जाती है।
हनुमान जयंती हर वर्ष दो तिथियों को मनाई जाती है. पहली हनुमान जयंती हिंदी कैलेंडर के अनुसार चैत्र महीने की पूर्णिमा तिथि को मनाई जाती है, ग्रेगोरियन कैलेंडर के अनुसार हनुमान जयंती हर वर्ष मार्च या अप्रैल के माह में मनाई जाती है।

जबकि दूसरी हनुमान जयंती कार्तिक मास की कृष्ण पक्ष की चतुर्दशी को मंगलवार के दिन मनाई जाती है क्योंकि महर्षि वाल्मीकि के द्वारा रचित की गई रामायण के अनुसार हनुमान जी का जन्म कार्तिक मास की कृष्ण पक्ष की चतुर्दशी को मंगलवार के दिन स्वाति नक्षत्र और मेष लग्न के दिन हुआ था. एक तिथि को भगवान हनुमान के जन्मदिवस के तौर पर मनाया जाता है जबकि दूसरी हनुमान जयंती विजय अभिनंदन महोत्सव के तौर पर मनाई जाती है।
हालांकि उत्तर भारत में चैत्र शुक्ल माह की पूर्णिमा तिथि को मनाई जाने वाली हनुमान जयंती अधिक लोकप्रिय है।

हनुमान जी को पुराणों के अनुसार भगवान शिव का 11वां अवतार माना जाता है. हनुमान जयंती वर्ष में दो बार मनाई जाती है और दोनों जयंती के पीछे अलग अलग मान्यताएं हैं. दोनों हनुमान जयंती के पीछे दो अलग कथाएं प्रचिलित हैं।

एक हनुमान जयंती भगवान हनुमान जी के जन्मदिवस के तौर पर मनाई जाती है. हनुमान जी का जन्म माता अंजनी की कोख से हुआ था. हनुमान जी को बहुत से नामों से जाना जाता है जिसमें से मुख्य नाम हैं अंजनिपुत्र, महाबली, रामेष्ट, बजरंगबली आदि हैं।
ऐंसी मान्यता है कि जब हनुमान जी का जन्म हुआ था तो उन्हें बहुत जोरों की भूंख लग गयी थी तो वे सूर्य को फल समझ कर उसे खाने के लिए सूर्य की तरफ बढ़े. उसी दिन राहु भी अपना ग्रास बनाने के लिए सूर्य की तरफ आ रहा था इसीलिए सूर्यदेव नें हनुमान जी को राहु समझ लिया था।

वहीं दूसरी हनुमान जयंती दीपावली के दिन मनाई जाती है. इस दिन हनुमान जयंती मनाये जाने के पीछे यह मान्यता है कि माता सीता ने हनुमान जी के समर्पण और भक्ति को देखकर उन्हें अमरता का वरदान दिया था. जिस दिन माता सीता ने वरदान दिया था उस दिन दीपावली थी. इसीलिए दीपावली के दिन भी हनुमान जयंती मनाई जाती है।
