A common sentiment among people today is asking if college is worth it? As many people are able to succeed without going through higher education, this question makes sense. Yet if you would like to be successful in the ever growing world of technology and media, then don’t take my word for it – go out and find yourself an accredited school! College may not always seem worth while at first sight; but if you invest in going there – then yes, a degree from an accredited institution will do wonders for your life.

It pains me to say this, but so many people are often left hurting because their college degree doesn’t make them qualified enough for the job market anymore; we live in an era where it’s all about technology and marketing. And while there will always be jobs available out there, if you really want to maximize your time in school – here are some of the best degrees that would have great salaries by 2022.

How Much Should You Spend on a Degree?

Average American students take out about $40,000 in loans by the time they graduate college – no small sum. If you are making just above minimum wage and choose an expensive school where tuition is high, then your future earnings might seem meager next to how much money you’re spending each year on college. Finding the right educational institution for you and applying for financial aid can help.

If you think that you qualify for merit-based scholarships, then by all means go ahead and take advantage of them. However, do not forget about the different kinds of loans as well. For one thing, private loans are far more lenient than federal ones when it comes to interest rates because they start out lower from day one. Furthermore, if necessary, you can refinance or even consolidate these loans later on for increased financial freedom after graduation.

    Highest Earning Degrees in 2022

Below are the top five degrees to earn in 2022 if you’re looking for both a lucrative and fulfilling career. With these qualifications, you can get your foot into an expanding field before it becomes too saturated with workers vying for the same opportunities that you might desire. Remember though; no matter what level of income you make, it’s always important to remain vigilant about managing your finances so that it can grow over time – because then everything else will just take care of itself.

    Artificial Intelligence

Entry-level AI engineers can begin their career with an impressive salary. Advances in artificial intelligence are the future of technology, so focusing on a degree in computer science with a specialization in artificial intelligence or machine learning will allow you to enter one of the highest paying jobs currently available across all sectors.

    Healthcare Administration

Throw in some technical skills, perhaps with a minor in Comp Sci, and you’ll be well on your way to an administrative management position within a couple of years post-graduation. Healthcare administrators are especially necessary because of this rapid change in COVID – we need them now more than ever.

    Information Technology

IT will not go anywhere anytime soon. Especially as Big Data, cloud computing and AI continue to overtake the business, technology, and healthcare sectors. Specializing in an emerging techonology will give you the necessary edge to land a higher paying job right out of school.

    Economics

Having a degree in economics gives you important experience for the business world as a financial advisor, consultant, or analyst right away after graduation. The best thing about this degree is that it’s both flexible and can be applied to industries you’re passionate about.

    Management Information Systems

Managing Technology means creating a better world for ourselves and future generations. The management of Information Systems – the intersection of people, IT, and computer science – will lead you to careers as either programmers or developers. Eventually you might find yourself becoming an Information Systems Director.

    Conclusion

With this in mind, you should still be thoughtful about how much you really want to pay for a degree. The difficult reality is that most employers do not care where you graduated from college or what your major was. Employees are able to land fantastic jobs so long as they have the required skill set and expertise necessary to succeed in this world – no matter what school they graduated from.

State schools are your best bet for tuition because they offer discounted rates for residents. Try to keep all other costs to under $10,000 a year, including textbooks and study materials. Apply for scholarships every semester – which can save you from paying several hundred dollars to thousands of dollars in addition to receiving any aid money or student loans you apply for.
