In 2015, the first installment of the film Sicario came out; followed by the second part of it which was released in 2018. However, what comes as a huge shock is that the third (Sicario 3) managed to do so well both financially and critically- becoming one of the best thrillers from this decade.
Sicario 3 Release Date?
While fans of Sicario were looking for information about the next installment in the series, director Stefano Sollima gave some insight. He explained that it would be best to treat each film as a standalone and not a trilogy since every tale is its own separate entity from one another.
Director Stefano Sollima also confirmed that he plans to make a third film. Sicario screenwriter Taylor Sheridan returned to write the script for the sequel and announced that she had ideas for Sicario 3 but didn’t share them just yet because it was still in development at this point. If we find out any more details about what would happen in the future films, they will be shared on this channel.
