    Who Is Rich Froning?

    Rich Froning Jr. is a world-renowned Crossfit athlete, who has set the standard for what it means to be world-class in this field. Born and raised in Mount Clemens, MI – Rich took up baseball as an activity in college and quickly became one of the best players on his team. Post graduation from Central Michigan University, he dedicated all his time to fitness training with several other athletes from around the country creating what would become CrossFit. His reign continues today, where not only does he hold 4 consecutive titles at the Crossfit Games but also has been dubbed The Fittest Man On Earth.

    Rich has been in many interviews, Instagram chats and Youtube videos discussing his diet plan and workout routine. He likes bodybuilding; which is how he build up muscle mass over time from lifting heavy weights or doing Crossfit workouts. His current diet plan consists of him eating healthy foods at least six times a day for breakfast, lunch, dinner plus snacks – but when he was involved in crossfit there wasn’t always enough food for him so it wasn’t an appropriate nutrition plan for him then.

    Rich used to consume high amounts of calories everyday by eating every few hours. Now he only consumes one meal per day consisting of all essential macro nutrients such as protein, carbs, and fats; he no longer needs additional supplements or shakes. Rich now practices Intermittent Fasting in addition to his improved diet plan which has helped him reduce weight dramatically.

    20 times : Sumo deadlift

    4 times : 1000 meter run
    Rest of 10 minutes
