Reports are coming in that the much-talked about (and eagerly awaited) pan-Indian blockbuster release RRR is quickly building up steam. Directed by SS Rajamouli and featuring mega-stars like Ram Charan, NTR Jr., Ajay Devgan, Alia Bhatt, it’s set to hit theaters in India next year. Even so – preorders for the movie have already opened up two weeks prior to its public debut! And what’s even crazier?
Tickets to see RRR on its US premiere night are currently priced at over USD $1 million – which makes it the first Indian film ever to reach this milestone! It goes without saying but interest in seeing all of these celebrities together seems to be growing larger every day with just a couple more months left before they finally meet again onscreen (which will certainly provide some great entertainment!)
As for the movie, RRR which is supposedly being made by Rajamouli next epic after the Baahubali films is directed by Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Alia Bhatt. Besides them the movie also stars Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani Ruth Prabhu, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson and Shriya Saran in pivotal roles. Set to be released sometime in 2022 or earlier than expected on January 7th, RRR is set during the early 20th century revolving around two freedom fighters- Komaram Bheem (played by Jr NTR) and Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan).
