Kartik Aaryan has been living in a dream world ever since Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was released. The actor has been breaking all sorts of records, from delivering the biggest opening and opening weekend in Bollywood this year to crossing the 100 crore mark in just 9 days – Kartik has proved his dominance at the box office and how.
When questioned about his success in the film industry, Kartik answered, It is surreal to see how quickly audiences accept my films and watch them over and over again. Having received such huge numbers at only nine days past its release date is something I never could have dreamed of. It takes me back to when we were filming Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 three years ago where all of us on set worked hard together for hours each day on building this massive blockbuster into what it has now become thanks to you guys.
Talking about celebrating the success of the film and the work schedule ahead, Kartik adds, My biggest celebration for the film happened on the first weekend of the release itself when I had gone to Gaiety cinema and met all my fans. I saw a ‘House Full’ sign at Gaiety and that was so fulfilling. The amount of love coming from these people has been so unreal that it only felt satisfactory when I celebrated with them. I danced with them, and asked them about how they feel about this movie and me – they’re my biggest inspiration! I’m starting to take on other commitments at work but now every chance I can find or make an excuse for myself – I’ll be able to spend some quality time getting together with these wonderful audiences who’ve made all this possible!
The up and coming star finally made it to the big leagues after such an epic performance at the box office and was interviewed on the same. When questioned about his success Kartik replied, I’m just one step closer to my goal of becoming number one. Next in line for him are roles in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Shehzada, Captain India, Freddy and Sajid Nadiadwala’s Untitled Project.
