What an achievement by KGF: Chapter 2. It set a new record last week as it made 3.85 crores on its opening day. Besides this, it’s also done great business these past four weeks to bring in so much when other high-profile films were having difficulties making anything at all on their first days. After crossing Rs. 400 crores, it has now become the second Hindi movie ever to reach that benchmark after Baahubali: The Conclusion [Hindi], which was pegged at Rs. 511 crores . With this accomplishment, KGF: Chapter 2 [Hindi] currently rests at Rs 401.80 crores and already they are one of the most successful movies India has seen – no small feat! Even though they surpassed expectations during the last few days before Eid – that only made matters better for them because it led them towards success here and now; giving them hope for even bigger accomplishments yet to come in time.
The next big milestone for the Yash starrer is Rs. 425 crores and that would also be comfortably crossed now. The kind of numbers this translated film could only dream to reach are already being reached, meaning there won’t be anything challenging it soon. It will take an extremely impressive movie (or movies) to beat what has already been done – and even then they might not succeed if nothing else manages such a feat before them. This means Bollywood needs one or many big blockbusters on top of each other in order to be successful – because otherwise they’ll never measure up after everything has been accomplished by these current films.
