The Yash starrer KGF – Chapter 2 was released four weeks ago, and since then there has been no stopping the film at the box office. With its opening weekend earning Rs. 100 crores; the ensuing week earnings were enough to break through the Rs. 200 crore barrier; climbing all the way up to finish off with a whopping Rs. 400 crore-breaking record – which made it one of India’s most successful films ever!

After earning Rs. 22.75 cr within just 4 weeks, it becomes one of the top three fourth-week grossers ever! It was only surpassed by some films like Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior which earned Rs. 21.65 crores, Kabir Singh which earned Rs. 16.66 crores and 3 Idiots which earned Rs. 15.63 crores among others when it comes to fourth week collections! On the contrary though, KGF 2 didn’t surpass all other films released such as Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion (Rs 29 40 crore) and Uri: The Surgical Strike (Rs 29 21 crore).
As of now, KGF – Chapter 2 is dominating the big-screen despite newer releases. Trade predictions predict that over the coming weekend, its collections will experience an additional boost.
