On the Eid day, despite being in its third week, The Yash fronted gangster drama movie still managed to show a 100% growth rate. Estimates state that it earned between Rs 8-8.6 crore rupees according to Monday’s earnings which was an increase of about 25%.
With this, it has exceeded the cumulative box office collection of Dangal to become one of the most profitable films of all time in the Hindi belt. Be it single screens or multiplexes – KGF – Chapter 2 was everyone’s first choice for entertainment across the country. It will remain stable on Wednesday due to Basi Eid and is on track to reach Rs. 400 crore club soon!
KGF 2 has been a theatrical monster and its not showing any signs of slowing down anytime soon. It seems like people are happy about it because there were no big Bollywood movies being released at the same time so they could make way for KGF 2’s release. The third week collections of KGF 2 should be one of the highest in terms of numbers ever seen before.
