Furthermore despite losing a lot of steam this past weekend, it still had an exceptionally solid performance in spite of everything- showing just how much demand people had for it all around the world.
This year in the markets of the United Arab Emirates and Gulf Cooperation Council, Drishyam 2 has managed to bring in USD 254k [Rs. 2.07 crores] over its second weekend; released across 4150 screens (domestic 3302 screens plus overseas 858-screens) the total collections for this film within these markets is pegged at a massive USD 1.16 million [Rs. 9.47 crores], up nearly 29% from last week’s collection of USD 902k [Rs. 7.36 crores].
According to industry insiders, Drishyam 2 has been steadily performing in the United Arab Emirates and Gulf Cooperation Council markets while Bhediya has seen great success at the same time. It is predicted that Drishyam 2 will sustain its continued growth for another three weeks.
