The much-talked about film Baaghi 3 was released last week on Friday, and it did not disappoint. With a wide release of 4,400 theaters domestically, fans were eagerly awaiting this very anticipated venture from Tiger Shroff. However, given all the buzz around the action thriller and its vast reach, it only made sense that it would make an impactful first impression when it finally arrived at cinemas – which it most certainly did!
In this report, we compare the opening-weekend earnings of Baaghi 3 with Tiger Shroff’s previous films. Opening at $53.83 million, it managed to defeat Student of the Year 2 which opened at $35.83 million and became Tiger’s third highest opening-weekend grosser (after War which made $166.25 million and Baaghi 2 which made $73.1 million). Though these top three films are followed closely by Baaghi 1 ($38.58 million), A Flying Jatt ($29.45 million), Munna Michael ($21.67million), Heropanti ($21.33 million) – Baaghi 3 nonetheless emerged victorious for performing better than all of them in each category given above.
Currently, Baaghi 3 still has an audience and is predicted to maintain its dominance over the Box Office. There are few movies competing against it and because of this – it will most likely earn a lot more than other movies during this time frame. Yet there’s one major concern on everyone’s mind: A virus known as Corona Virus has been spreading around rapidly which makes people stay away from theaters, so we can’t predict how well the movie does for now.
