Baaghi 3 made a smashing debut on Sunday and has already earned an astounding Rs. 20.30 crores so far, making this the fastest film in Bollywood history to achieve that milestone from just three days of release! In spite of being initially projected for failure – because it didn’t make as much money on Friday or Saturday – Baaghi performed surprisingly well; its jump in earnings from the previous two days is impressive, but what makes us really happy is that Baaghi could make even more money tomorrow (Holi) since most theaters will be closed. So if Baaghi manages to rake up 10+ crore rupees today, we’ll consider it an enormous success!
The Sajid Nadiadwala production currently stands at Rs. 53.83 crores and this is now the second biggest weekend of 2020 after Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior [Rs. 61.93 crores]. This was also the time when Ajay Devgn’s latest outing took off in a major way, thus there isn’t any real chance for Baaghi 3 to beat any records set so far. However, Ahmed Khan’s latest directorial has done surprisingly well – especially considering it is only 5 days old – surpassing other films such as Street Dancer 3D that had already managed to gross an average of Rs. 41.23 crores over its opening day weekend!
