On Thursday, Mahashivratri, Roohi its grand debut and successfully concluded its extended opening week. On its second Thursday, the film grossed an additional Rs. 1.02 crore, taking its total collections to Rs. 17.43 crore.
Produced Dinesh Vijan, this Bollywood movie stands out as the first film to be released after pandemic–related restrictions were eased. It was a risk, given that its box office numbers were not anticipated to be high, but the flick ended up exceeding expectations and bringing in an overall gross of over Rs. 20 crores. This small victory is something to celebrate!
After the box office jump–started, Mumbai Saga must now continue the progress. With John Abraham headlining Sanjay Gupta’s crime–thriller, the fate of the film lies on its ability to sustain theatregoers’ enthusiasm.
