With a number of stars walking down the red carpet such as Karan Johar and Taapsee Pannu, none were able to outshine the spectacle created by KGF Chapter 2 starring Yash. This highly marketed movie was released on Friday at 11 am nationwide which gave theaters four extra hours for customers to stream in from all over India. With an increase in ticket prices over weekends, many were worried if their budget would stretch beyond Sunday. But despite these fears, after 4 days of exposure domestically KGF Chapter 2 stands tall at Rs 215 Cr with no signs slowing down! In order to fulfill this requirement within 5 days (including the opening), it surpassed Baahubali: The Conclusion which earned only €200 Million ($225 Million) through seven weeks or 159 Days.
As of now, KGF- Chapter 2 continues to draw audiences in droves across the country. With such an overwhelmingly positive response from viewers across India, and screens showing no signs of slowing down, it can only be assumed that this film will exceed what it achieved last year in terms of profits. The projected box office earnings for this movie are slated to reach around Rs 300 crore even before the first week is over.
