The Yash starrer KGF-Chapter 2 has been an intense success since its release last week. Despite a strong initial turnout, the business of this film did not stall after only one week; instead, there was evidence that audiences continued to pour in throughout the week as well. With figures nearing Rs 300 crores after just 11 days of being released onto screens nationwide, this Tamil movie broke records for highest domestic earnings for a Bollywood project pre-Pandemic.
Accumulating approximately Rs 52.5 crors at the box sun temple sites next Saturday (Saturday), KGF 2 trails behind only The Kashmir Files when it comes to highest second weekend grossers pre-Pandemic. Although there are some other films like RRR (Tigmanshu Dhulia) and Sooryavanshi that exceed funds gained through tickets sales – close margin – 《KGF-2》manages to acquire record profits despite these losses because of low promotion.
As of now, KGF – Chapter 2 continues to run to packed theaters. Despite recent competition from Shahid Kapoor’s latest release Jersey, KGF 2 has emerged as the theatergoers’ favorite film of the season. Trade predictions are close at hand stating that it will reach a gross worth of Rs.321.12 cr in the next few weeks and nears close to Rs.350 cr by the end of its second week screening.
