The much talked about and hugely promoted movie KGF – Chapter 2 was released just a few days ago to an overwhelming reaction from the audience. After a stellar start, business for this Yash starrer began skyrocketing in record time, emerging as one of the biggest moneymakers of the year. For example, in this box office report we’ll compare what KGF 2 made here in Delhi – UP circuit compared to other movies’ collections; not surprisingly it’s already become the third highest all-time grosser in that area with its total earnings being Rs. 73.38 crs. Yes, with some luck it even outranked bigger ticket releases like Bajrangi Bhaijaan which only collected Rs. 70.6 crores; or Sanju which only collected Rs. 70.56 crores; or Tiger Zinda Hai which only collected Rs. 70.14 crores).
Going forward, KGF – Chapter 2 won’t be hindered by the release of new films such as Runway 34 and Heropanti 2. In fact, it looks like this film will start to rapidly grow; surpassing even the collections of movies such as Dangal which at one point accumulated Rs. 80.25 cr. within Delhi-Uttar Pradesh circuits alone! As for now, trade predictions state that KGF – Chapter 2 has an excellent chance at making a killing again this week during Eid due to its consistent growth rate in collection numbers since its release!
