Though there was little buzz surrounding it, the film KGF-Chapter 2 opened up to outstanding reviews and over 3 weeks it has become one of India’s top grossing films. Reaching in excess of 100 crores, 200 crores, and even 400 crores within just four weeks after its release, this second installment of the franchise did well for itself. Even on it 4th week run so far people are coming out to support it without fail.

Accumulating Rs. 14.85 cr after its fourth week, KGF 2 has proven itself as one of the top earners out of all these films released so far in 2022 such as SS Rajamouli’s directorial RRR, which earned Rs. 10.05 cr from its fourth week; The Kashmir Files that managed to collect Rs. 6.75 cr during its fourth weekend release; and finally Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt who earned just about Rs 3.35 crores after four weeks of being released in theaters nationwide.
Going forward, trade predictions predict that the business of KGF-Chapter 2 will continue to see growth in its fourth week as well. And it may even be able to eventually overtake Dr Strange’s long reign as king at the box office. As per predictions, KGF-Chapter 2 might just make it to Rs450cr by the end of its 4th week run.
