This year’s most anticipated film, Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2 is living up to its hype. Despite being released across only few countries, it has been one of the best performing films. In just two weeks it has already taken in over Rs 100 crore at the box office and left competition far behind in terms of earnings.
In this Box Office Report, we look at the fourth-weekend collections of KGF – Chapter 2 while comparing it to other Hindi dubbed movies. Collecting Rs. 14.85 cr, the movie ranked as the second-highest fourth weekend Indian release in Bollywood history. The movie was unable to beat Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion which had earned Rs. 18.30 cr but still managed to outperform other Indian films such as RRR (Rs 10.05cr), Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 (Rs 8.23) and Bahubali – The Beginning (Rs 7.70).
As of now, KGF – Chapter 2 continues to amass audiences in large numbers while it also proves itself a major competitor against newly released Hollywood film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Trade predictions state that the business for KGF-2 could easily reach Rs 450 crore mark by the end of its 4th week at cinemas and continue to grow.
