Marvel fans have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness after hearing so much about it. Released just over a week ago, it has already seen success but may soon decline as well due to early selling tickets being available a whole month before its release. Opening with USD 187 million at the USA box office on Friday, there was only a small decrease in revenue on weekdays afterward – an impressive accomplishment considering that most other films follow this pattern.
Although business will no doubt continue to fluctuate according to trends and popularity, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is still expected to earn more than what it has already made thus far.
In fact, Doctor Strange 2 is projected to beat the USD 233 million benchmark set by the first film, Doctor Strange as they only close in on the USD 300 million mark- something that was predicted just three days ago. As per trade predictions, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will surpass the USD 300 million mark after being shown for a total of two weekends at North American theaters alone- but it seems like this isn’t even necessary anymore as it’s already passed through USD 500 million dollars overseas just today (Tuesday).
