KGF: Chapter 2 shattered every record set before it, when the film managed to collect RS 31 crore net from just an advance sale of tickets on its opening day.The Prashanth Neel blockbuster achieved this feat despite no one expecting it could even come close or beat the advances of War when they were released. The pre-sale ticket income already exceeded the full-day collections of every other Indian movie ever released, with only dabbling crumbs leftover for what others might want to go see later in cinema halls tonight. As such, most people didn’t even think twice about watching anything else apart from this masterpiece that delivered on everything they wanted and more – if they wanted anything else outside of how grandiose and masterfully executed KGF has been all along!
KGF 2- one of Yash’s movies is proving to be quite successful. It was predicted that the occupancy rate was going to increase even more during the middle of the day when people came out from work or school and bought their tickets at counters where they could also ask for refunds if they weren’t satisfied with what they saw. War had an opening night attendance over half the size of KGF2’s, which means it will likely collect less than half as much money on its first day debuting; furthermore, if all goes well then this film will have done really well by recording an earnings closer to Rs 51 crores during its opening day debut. So far, theaters in Mumbai and other locations around India have been filled but some are full while others are only almost-full because there is limited room capacity; nevertheless, KGF2 seems a success so far!
Very few Indian films in Hindi areas have managed to stir up the same level of excitement as Salman Khan movies. Some notable examples include his most recent release, Tiger Zinda Hai and previous successes such as Dhoom 3 and Baahubali 2. And now KGF 2 can be added to that list. While there haven’t been many release numbers yet to predict how well it’ll do during its initial week, what little evidence we do have suggests unprecedented success thanks to the early buzz around it. With advance sales surpassing those for successful franchises such as War, Sultan, and Bahubali 2, no one knows just how high these estimated numbers will climb before all is said and done.
