A couple of days back, we saw the release of the Vijay starrer Beast. Despite releasing at a decent pace, this film has struggled to do well in theaters compared to other films that have come out lately such as KGF – Chapter 2. On day one, it raked in about Rs 49.3cr but on day two its business suffered a drastic loss by dropping off about 57%. It now stands with approximately Rs 20-21 crores – if you compare it to how much it was earning only yesterday!
As per industry predictions though, it may do better over the weekends since there’s going to be less competition from other movies coming out then. Still though, with all these factors taken into consideration and considering how passionate people are about KGF 2 right now, this is inevitable – assuming nothing changes before then – for Beast’s fate once again look grim against what seems like insurmountable odds that loom ahead!
