Yesterday, a much-talked about and eagerly awaited film, KGF – Chapter 2 was finally released to over 10,000 screens worldwide. Just days ago when this movie was first announced its release date fans were ecstatic. It would not only be available on such a large number of screens but it would also be in Hindi which meant an even wider audience than ever before! And they were right! With the craze for this movie skyrocketing around the world it garnered 31 crore (Rs) profit from ticket sales during its opening day domestically. That’s not all though because it also collected 26 crore (Rs) from overseas areas bringing the global sum up to 164 crore (Rupees).
As of now, KGF 2 has continued its impressive showing at the Box Office with barely any opposition to speak of. Expectations are high that this will quickly become one of the most successful films in recent history, if not all time. Already there are showings happening as early as 6 AM and special showings after midnight – it’s clear to see just how popular this movie is, from a single view!
