The Ayan Mukherji directorial Brahmastra was released last week on Friday. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt the film that was released in over 5000 screens in the domestic market has been consistently recording high collection figures. After enjoying a weekend filled with advance bookings for its first three days, the business of the film has continued its domination at the box office.
Now on its fourth day running, some anticipation is present about what might happen going forward into tomorrow’s showings as well. With yesterday being a Sunday – an unofficially holy holiday; it comes as no surprise when projections are made that there would be less people lining up to see this particular release than usual. This expectation is even further compounded when considering how today will herald back-to-back working days: starting off with Mondays and ending off with Tuesdays. Advance ticket sales for these particular two days stand right around Rs 4 crore (approximately).
