India will get to see Brahmastra on Friday, September 9th; but those in the US have a chance to catch it a day earlier! With advance tickets worth USD 100K sold for Thursday’s paid previews that start from 5 pm onwards, this eagerly–awaited release is all set to take American audiences by storm.
K Madhavan, President of Disney Star India, confirmed at the Hyderabad event last Friday that Brahmastra is slated for an unprecedented release across 8,000 screens worldwide; 5,000 within India and 3,000 beyond its borders. It will be the first time a film travels such distance and he considers it to be more than just another Indian production.
Introducing Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva, S.S Rajamouli’s much-awaited magnum opus in collaboration with Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures. Featuring a star-studded ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni, the multi-lingual movie will be released in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada – on September 9th.
