This hotel is wonderful! It offers a stunning view and you will feel as though you’re removed from the hustle and bustle of Dubai to relax at ease. The staff were very hospitable, friendly, and eager to help- they made me feel like family and I didn’t even have to know everyone’s name because they took care of everything without fail.
My room was cozy with an outdoorsy ambiance – it overlooks the greenery below and those big hills too; it really brings out my inner child. My trip wasn’t just about staying inside – I loved being able to go outside where there are plenty of animals wandering around: peacocks darting across the road or shaking off water droplets; pigs running around; deer grazing quietly in their pens; snakes slithering here and there…
The food at the hotel restaurant is delicious; it truly shows how knowledgeable this chef is. We thoroughly enjoyed every second of our stay there too, from the delightful desserts we received in between dishes such as the refreshing lemon and mint sorbet that cleanedse our palate before getting back to eating again.
Furthermore, I would like to extend my gratitude towards the hotel because they were very understanding of me when I wasn’t able to arrive at breakfast and brought me some food from dinner instead!

The Hotel was beautiful and the night temperatures were much cooler than Dubai; even the night breeze felt different. The hotel was well-maintained, had many things to do (besides watching movies) for my son; it seemed safe – all these things led me to decide on this one.

An amazingly special place which specializes in soothing the weary mind, body and spirit. All staff are welcoming and attentive. The pool areas provide a perfect escape from time; making it feel as though you’re never really home when you stay there! After three months of imposed lockdown/isolation restrictions, it was refreshing to visit Hatta Fort for some down time. Measures taken here go above and beyond what would be expected for guest safety which we found impressive.
Upon check-in, we were all given face masks. And before they handed over our credit card or hotel room key, they disinfected them both first. Apparently anyone staying here has just been cleared of contact with Covid and they want to keep it that way.
Despite our repeated questions about the sanitation of the rooms, housekeeping assured us that they are cleaned daily and fogged twice a day. We were also told that every other table has been removed from both restaurants – this leaves more room for people to eat or drink at. The bar has been converted to extend the size of one of the dinning halls, making it easier for everyone who visits here.
These are hard times for the world, and we can’t help but feel sorry for what will happen to us. However, Hatte Fort has made sure that everyone feels comfortable here; despite all the risks they take to keep us safe.
It was fantastic to know that we could still take a break from all of this and enjoy the beautiful Hatta Fort experience without feeling like we were compromising on safety for it. Thank you, everyone!

A staycation at Al Maha Resort is one of the best things you could do for your family in UAE. There are many amenities such as pools, playgrounds, and activities that keep children entertained – all situated next to an expansive outdoor jogging track just moments away from bird watching tours. All staff members were courteous and service was prompt but most importantly it felt safe here during the current crisis–none of my concerns were left unanswered!

The setting of this hotel is spectacular – right in the midst of the Hatta mountains.
The grounds here are beautifully landscaped and set up for the enjoyment of all- there are plenty of activities to partake in such as a serene lookout point for adults and children, family-friendly pools, an archery range and miniature golf course, and a deer petting area. And don’t forget about everything else you’ll find in this idyllic countryside! Just hop over to Hatta Dam or take one of many scenic hikes just outside, if you’re feeling adventurous.
One of my favorite aspects of the hotel was its retro design. The reception hall had old wooden furniture and high ceilings. I also liked our room; it had an outside balcony overlooking the vast expanse of green plains before me, as well as lush hills off in the distance. It was a clean room with an adequate shower stall – nothing special but got the job done without any problems. And best of all, there were two queen-sized beds!

A great place to spend time with my family. The landscaping is well designed which provides a nice backdrop to everything else you may find there. There’s plenty of good food, nice rooms and tons of fun activities that can be done for the whole family too.
