The new Army 365 Webmail and teams platform will only be accessible through a web browser (preferably Microsoft Edge or Chrome). It’s not possible to get this service on your personal computer, tablet device nor phone due it being an online based application that requires internet connection at all times in order for users access their accounts.

To access Army 365 Webmail, follow these steps:
- Connect your CAC reader to your computer while the CAC is inserted. (Computer will announce it with an audible ding and an icon in the task bar)
- Go to Army 365 Webmail on a fresh web browser (Microsoft Edge or Chrome; Firefox only if configured with ActivClient).
- Sign in with your @army.mil email. You can also use your CAC or PIV to sign in.
- When prompted, choose the AUTHENTICATION certificate.
- Enter your six-digit CAC PIN.

To access Army OWA Email, follow the below steps:
- Make sure you have a CAC card and a CAC reader. (in some cases, it works best if the CAC card and reader are already plugged in before accessing the website.)
- You can access Army OWA Webmail at: https://web.mail.mil/owa
- The OWA mail service will continue to work if you receive an “Error in the certificate”, “Error in security” or “Error in site security”.
- STILL HAVE PROBLEMS? Try another browser such as Microsoft Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome.
- DO YOU STILL HAVE PROBLEMS? Clear your browser’s cookies and history (or open a new browser tab, not a new one).
