Let’s explore the origin of Dubai’s all-female supercar owners’ club, how it was founded and what it does. Who would’ve thought that this city known for being one big adult amusement park would also house some of the most exotic cars on earth? Ladies in Dubai are certainly not shy about joining in on the fun either – after all there are just as many women driving these beautiful machines!
Who Are The Arabian Gazelles?

Founder: Hanan Mazouzi Sobati
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Arabian Gazelles was founded by Hanan Mazouzi Sobati in 2017, and it is the world’s only home for female supercar owners. After its creation, Arabian Gazelles has continued to grow thanks to women who are connected across the globe and emboldened enough to work hard each day. This amazing group of people isn’t just going to be passengers – they want to be drivers instead. Driving fast or slow doesn’t matter – all that matters is being behind the wheel without worrying about what anyone else thinks. As such, Arabian Gazelles helps inspire these strong-willed women by breaking down stereotypes – showing them that anything can happen when you set your mind on it and take action!
Thanks to the club, many women have been able to break free from their fears and limitations. Now, they too can explore life through a sense of adventure like men. The Gazelles aren’t just about high-octane supercar events; rather, these strong females love luxurious lifestyles as well. Not only does this apply to members who own expensive racing cars – it also includes individuals who own luxury cars such as Rolls Royces. This motto aptly reflects this mentality: Life is too short to drive boring vehicles.
Impact of The Gazelles
Hardly had they launched the club when big name media outlet such as CNN, BBC, Daily Mail, Vanity Fair, Vogue and Forbes began recognizing them. Brands and manufactures don’t just recognize them for their work but collaborate with them or sponsor their events too. One good example is how McLaren- sponsors a female only track experience exclusively for those who have never driven before -allowing these women to really feel what it means to be a race car driver without having any worries about crashing or ruining other cars along the way.
In 2017, the Gazelle drove to Dubai’s Autodrome and drove high performance cars by Rolls Royce. They were also invited to a panel discussion about their cars at the Dubai International Motor Show in November of that year. In addition, they had five members go to Ferrari for test drives of two new models – one costing $200,000+. There was also a meeting with BMW discussing brand perceptions and vehicle design which we went too.
Who Is Hanan Mazouzi Sobati Founder of Arabian Gazelles?
Although one may first presume that Hanan Mazouzi Sobati is just another chic car lover who married into the family business, it would seem that they’re sadly mistaken. As her husband in fact dislikes cars altogether – or at least he hadn’t ever shown an interest in them before meeting Hanan, who had grown up playing with toy cars as a little girl – they are actually opposites rather than anything alike.
Unlike her spouse, Hanan holds a background from some of the world’s most luxurious brands, having been born in Algeria before living all over Europe and Asia before finally moving to Dubai for over 20 years ago today. At present however she counts owning two astounding automobiles such as a Rolls Royce Drophead Phantom and Morgan Aero Super Sport among her collection of automobiles.
Worthy of note is the fact that Hanan had faced some sexist issues when she first started racing. When people saw her race, they would always think it was some other girl because they never believed a woman could be so skilled at it. They thought I was somebody’s sister or daughter, Hanan says about what people used to say about her back then.It made me mad sometimes because it felt like they were saying girls can’t do anything!
How Arabian Gazelles Came About
Hanan was a member of a car-owners club but saw that it had mostly male members when women are just as likely to buy and drive cars. From this, she decided to form her own vehicle society for females who shared the same passion. One year after its inception – in 2016 – Sobati hosted an event with two neighbor girls where they went out and bought themselves Ferraris or Lamborghinis following Hanan’s suggestion.
Negative reactions ensued such as having no friends because husbands feared they would steal their wives away while trying to recruit others into the new society – if only these men knew better! However, today over 100 Arab Gazelle Members (which is what Hanan named her society) are active including famous YouTuber Supercar Blondie Alex Hirschi. It seems attitudes towards women buying sports cars have changed because now many want to join the Society too!
Who Can Join The Arabian Gazelles?
At first, we were accepting applications from only car enthusiasts because that was who we wanted in the club. But for some reason, people are becoming more ambitious about owning a car – even if they don’t know much about cars and just want to look cool or wealthy. So now we’re accepting applications from anyone who owns one of these cars: Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé, McLaren, Aston Martin or Maserati – as well as the Bentayga or G-Wagon SUV.

Conclusion
According to Mazouzi, We’re just like one big family – a group of women all with the same dream of driving high-end cars. It’s this other world that is so different from everyday life. The organization has allowed her and other members to explore many different types of cars, including vehicles they would never have been able to afford themselves. Jarvi agrees that getting behind the wheel has also helped them change people’s misconceptions about what it means to be a woman who drives an expensive car. I want my girls out there dreaming about doing anything they want, she told Glamour Magazine.
