The year was 2563 and five centuries after the great devastation, the planet had finally become accustomed to living in peace with a mix of humans and cyborgs. From being reluctant at first, society became more accepting of these artificial additions because they served as useful tools for many purposes such as harvesting or war machines.
Doctor Dyson Ido – one of these specialized surgeons – came across an interesting find during his latest examination: a cyborg who’s brain hadn’t been destroyed.
The doctor breathes new life into this old cyborg- named Alita. Coming back to the land of the living, her only memories are of when she was first made and what it felt like when her body died. She got used to these new things that surrounded her so much that she never forgot them. It took a while for Alita to make some friends, but eventually found people who were just as lonely as she was.
But not everything was all sunshine and roses for Alita; she began to recall the old memories of herself, which quickly brought her back into the clutches of her own past. It wasn’t long before she was noticed by enemies who shouldn’t have been watching – but it didn’t take them long to spot her either way!
