Viewers have not been disappointed as it managed to cross Rs. 200 crores within just one week. It seems War was truly capable of mesmerizing audiences, living up to all expectations!
War, starring Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan, has earned Rs. 216.65 crore within the first seven days of its release and thus has become the fourth movie to cross the coveted Rs. 200 crore mark. Salman Khan’s Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai had earlier collected Rs. 229.16 cr and Rs. 206.04 cr respectively in 7 days, followed by Sanju (starring Ranbir Kapoor) which managed to earn Rs. 202.51 cr in the same time frame. Surprisingly, War was even faster than certain other box–office hits like Dangal, PK and Dhoom 3 that took 8, 9 and 10 days respectively to achieve this milestone; however it pales in comparison to Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion which minted a remarkable Rs 247 crores in merely 6 days!
