War, the blockbuster starring Hrithik Roshan, opened a week ago and has since been dominating the box office. Unveiled across 4000 theaters in India, it continues to be a top earner during weekdays too.
War’s box office report has revealed that it earned a whopping Rs. 238.35 crore in its opening week, making it Hrithik Roshan’s highest–grossing debut. Outperforming even the already successful Krrish 3’s opening collections of Rs. 166.52 crore, War has proved to be more successful than some of his other movies as well, such as Bang Bang (Rs. 135.45 cr), Agneepath (Rs. 91.05 cr), Kaabil (Rs. 82.18 cr), Super 30 (Rs 75 85 cr) Mohenjo Daro (Rs 51 18cr), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (Rs 45 40cr ), Kites( Rs 40 90 cr) and Guzaarish( Rs 22cr). It seems the action–packed entertainer was an audience favorite!
Evident from the collections War has been doing stellar business at the box office, and expectations are that the business of the film will see growth over its second weekend. In fact predictions state that the collections of War will easily cross the Rs. 250 cr mark by the end of its second weekend.
