On Sunday, JugJugg Jeeyo saw a major jump in its box office collections, as it raked in a whopping Rs. 15.10 crores. The opening collection on Friday was Rs. 9.28 crores, making this a significant increase. It was possible to predict that the Karan Johar production might make Rs. 40 crores by the weekend. But it looks like it’s crossed the Rs. 35 crores mark with much ease, which is a great sign!
So far, the movie has generated Rs. 36.93 crores and it is interesting to observe where it stands after the first week concludes. If it collects around Rs. 60 crores, it would be a noteworthy success for the Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Neetu Kapoor movie. This appears to be achievable since it is a family entertainer which should attract a consistent audience in the evening shows. Additionally, the response from viewers is highly positive, thereby helping to keep the movie in circulation each day.
Varun Dhawan’s most recent big–screen movie, Street Dancer 3D [2020], enjoyed a successful opening week, raking in Rs.56.77 crores. JugJugg Jeeyo has performed very well so far and it is likely to exceed that number. This outcome would certainly make the actor happy, paving the way for even greater success in his upcoming movies.
