The much–awaited movie JugJugg Jeeyo, helmed by Raj Mehta and backed by Dharma Productions – Vaicom 18, featuring an ensemble cast of Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Singh, released to an extremely positive response from the audience. It enjoyed a great opening weekend, and continued to do well in its first week, showing steady growth. Even after the release of more movies, weeks after its initial release, the movie has managed to maintain its standing in theatres.
In spite of its fifth week of run in theaters, the business of JugJugg Jeeyo is continuing its progress towards the impressive Rs. 85 cr mark. The collections for the film presently stand at a total of Rs. 84.96 cr, which has firmly established it as the sixth highest grosser of 2022. Furthermore, if it is compared to the other non-dubbed Hindi releases, then JugJugg Jeeyo stands at an even higher position – that of the fourth highest grosser of the year. Unsurprisingly, leading it on the list of highest grossers of 2022 are already–released blockbusters like KGF – Chapter 2 ( Rs. 434.70 cr ), RRR ( Rs. 274.31 cr ), The Kashmir Files ( Rs. 252.90 cr ), Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 ( Rs. 185.92 cr ), and Gangubai Kathiawadi ( Rs. 129.10 cr ).
At present, JugJugg Jeeyo is still succeeding in attracting the attention of viewers. The recent releases that have not been performing as expected have extended a new lease of life for this Raj Mehta directed film in theatres. Moreover, according to the trade experts, the box office collection of JugJugg Jeeyo will likely proceed at a steady rate and is likely to touch the Rs. 90 cr mark.
