The movie, directed by Virendra Agnihotri and starring Anupam Kher, called The Kashmir Files was released a while back. Though it opened on an average note, the business of the film grew exponentially over its opening weekend and the first week in theaters. With positive critiques from critics and heavy enthusiasm from viewers, those who originally planned for a limited release across 650 screens decided to make room for 2000 additional screens to meet viewer demand. Now after running nineteen days, this marvelous movie has managed to stay afloat at box office despite releases like Bachhana Pataye and RRR which are close behind with about 300 crores in its overall earnings worldwide.

After receiving favourable reviews from the critics, the business of the film began with a boom.
