10 Best Things To Do In Dubai
As vast as the sea and never-ending deserts may seem, Dubai offers something for everyone. From top-tier beaches to party spots and outdoor activities such as scuba diving or going through one of many museums (or even an underground zoo), a desert is no match for Dubai. Of course, there are 10 things you have to check out in this location first-hand before leaving – let’s start at number 1!
1. Up for Dune Bashing?
One of the top things to do in Dubai is dune bashing. Even if you’re not an adventure enthusiast, why would you turn down the thrill of driving a 4×4 across sands? With heights that are exhilarating and moments when it seems like one wrong move will send you hurtling over the edge – only for something else even more daring happening instead – this is definitely worth checking off your bucket list at least once. But there’s so much more than just sand here! There are some other great adventures waiting for anyone brave enough to take them on!
2. Go for skydiving
Do you think Dubai can only give you new, unparalleled life experiences at its land and sea? You’re wrong. What about flying in the sky of Dubai? Have you ever thought about going up high enough to see the city below and all around you with nothing but ocean stretching out until it looks like a tiled map? Skydiving companies offer this service. Contact one if you want an unforgettable thrill–you won’t regret it!
3. Wild Wadi — Dubai’s most visited waterpark
Do you want to try a new activity? Have you never had the opportunity to surf before? Wild Wadi Waterpark has the perfect solution for your need – the Slides and Rides that provide an authentic surfing experience. This theme park is situated right in front of the famous Burj Al Arab, so no matter where you are, it’s easy to find! With more than 30 different attractions including Jumeirah Sceirah which is one of Dubai’s tallest slides, this waterpark will satisfy everyone. No matter if you’re young or old – now during these hot summer days, go ahead and visit one of three indoor pools at Wild Wadi Waterpark.
4. A depiction of multiple cultures – The Global Village, Dubai
Located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road E311, the Global Village offers visitors a one-stop destination for entertainment. With diverse cultures represented by eighty different nations under one roof, this is hands down the world’s best shopping and tourist attraction center. Get ready to embark on an awe-inspiring journey!
5. Shopping at Dubai Mall
The Dubai Mall, a place which no one can ever forget. It is not only a gathering spot for hungry shoppers but also an amusement park full of exciting activities that are sure to keep its visitors coming back over and over again. Situated in the heart of Downtown Dubai and located near many tourist attractions such as the Underground Zoo or even the Dubai Aquarium – this place has something special for everyone regardless of age or nationality.
6. Ain Dubai – the World’s largest observation wheel
Sitting in the air-conditioned cabin of Dubai’s tallest observation wheel, you will see for miles around. At about 250 meters high, Ain Dubaishe stands next to blue waters island and features stunning views including a nighttime cityscape with all of Dubai’s landmarks lit up. Take an extra step if you want – and book one of our luxury pods where you can enjoy an incredible dinner while taking in the picturesque vistas. And yes, there is no question that a trip up this impressive structure – which only takes 38 minutes – is worth every minute spent enjoying its sights!
7. The world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa
What are some things that come to mind when we think of Dubai? Do people only think about the tallest building in the world – Burj Khalifa? If so, what do you know about it? While some people might only focus on height or location – there is so much more about this iconic tower.
For one thing, there are 200 stories inside the skyscraper. The majority (19 through 108) being residential suites while others contain offices or even hotels. Besides having an amazing view of the city and its fountain, if someone lives here they will have quick access to two different shopping malls and also one of the best gym facilities with amazing views!
It doesn’t stop there either – if you’re not living in Dubai yet but want to take advantage of all this iconic skyscraper has to offer then we’ve got good news for you too! There are multiple places where residents can dine including exclusive restaurants at rooftop levels where non-residents can go too.
8. Dive in the world’s deepest pool
Another thing to add to my list of what to do in Dubai is diving. What makes it so appealing is the deepness of the dive pool – at 60 meters, this is one of the deepest pools on earth and resembles a sunken city. It holds 14 million liters of water, complete with 65 cameras that show you every view available within its walls when viewing them on a large window upon entering Deep Dive Dubai.
You can even find well-crafted rooms here alongside state-of-the art equipment for cleanliness, giving people around the world an opportunity they couldn’t pass up! Have you ever eaten or played underwater? Well if so then you will really love what Deep Dive Dubai offers; underwater restaurants and indoor games make sure everyone enjoys themselves while relaxing too much (but not TOO much!).
9. A tour to Dubai’s Amazon — The Green Planet
Ever heard about rainforests in deserts? Yeah, right! But what if I tell you there are ones here too? Yes, huh, who knew?! Anyway Dubai does happen to have one – and man is it worth checking out. The Green Planet Dubai is located at City Walk and resembles a real rain forest with over 3000 animals living inside.
Aside from having meet-and-greets with said animals the planet also has a café for visitors looking for something to eat after all this excitement. Plus, they offer you the chance to camp overnight – so just imagine sleeping in a tropical rainforest! Sounds crazy good right?? Besides that they also offer up things like thunderstorms and rain in the tropics every day starting around 1pm until 5pm (to make sure no time gets wasted). Now this place isn’t just incredible, it’s literally one of a kind!
10. Start your day from the famous Dubai Miracle Garden
Start your Winter mornings at Dubai Miracle Garden. With its breathtakingly spectacular view, you won’t want to put down your coffee cup anytime soon! Spread over an area of 72, 000 square metres and housing around 150 million blossoming flowers, this paradise on earth is open for everyone every day. Its salty yet refreshing smell fills up the whole atmosphere and gets rid of all the weariness from travelling. It’s worth a visit for anyone who is looking for some amazing moments outdoors!
Other than being filled with colorful blooms which give off a lovely fragrance, the gardens offer different sorts of cuisines such as coffeeshops, juice points, and food stalls too! They also have live shows on weekends so you can catch them if you’re visiting then. One doesn’t need to worry about ending up here alone because there are countless kids who come here too – making it one big happy family outing where everyone can learn more about butterflies in their natural habitat!
