Noida happens to be one such North Indian city – tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the capital but still just 25 kilometers away.     1. Akshardham:

    Akshardham Temple is a holy place devoted to the ideals of spiritualism and religion. Situated in the suburbs of Delhi, it is over 50 acres large, rising up into the sky at 43 meters tall. It contains four main buildings – an exhibition hall, theatre halls, library and museum – each filled with art pieces from various parts of India. In addition to these structures there are many small shrines dedicated to various gods including Shiva, Vishnu, Parvati and Krishna; most notably the Mandir wherein statues depicting Lord Swaminarayan (creator), Shree Radha Krishnaji-ji (supreme lord) and Shree Sita Rama Ji Maharaj (god of mercy) reside among other deities such as Goddess Lakshmi Narayana Ji. Built by Pramukhswami himself this holy place attracts people from all religions come together in peace here.

    How To Reach: It is 1 hour 30 minutes from the airport and 40 minutes from the New Delhi railway station. The nearest metro stop is the Akshardham, just 350 meters walk away.

    2. Sai Baba Temple:

    Sai Baba Temple is one of the most famous temples in Noida and has visitors from all over Delhi. The temple was constructed by using pure white marble stones and it resembles Sai Baba Mandir in Shirdi. This Temple was established by OM Foundation and its management team organizes monthly celebrations to commemorate various festivals such as Diwali, Holi, Shivratri, Ramnavmi etc. They also provide free midday meals to children who live at the OM Foundation, along with working on building a school for people of higher secondary education.

    How To Reach: Noida is around 25 Km (1 hour) from the Airport. You can take a cab or auto to get to the Sai Baba temple from any part of Noida.

    Best Time To Visit: Samadhi Diwas, Diwali, Basant Panchmi and Janmashtmi festivals are celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm.
    Other Attractions: They celebrate all festivals – even Eid and Xmas so suitable for all religions and welcomes all. They provide education to the underprivileged. They also provide cooked food to the needy.

    3. Lotus Temple:

    This magnanimous Hindu temple design is the most magnificent monument of all- standing with a grace unparalleled and unparalleled splendor. My refuge still remains home to me no matter where I roam, so here I am again! Home sweet home – in my very own sanctuary!

    4. ISKCON Temple:

    The internationally famous ISKCON temple or the society for Krishna Consciousness – which is devoted to Lord Krishna – can be found in Noida. Everyday, inside this place of worship, different kinds of rituals are performed (rituals involving praying) and songs are sung (called kirtana). Every Sunday, they also offer food to each guest who visits them at the temple. When there’s an important festival going on such as Sri Krishna Janmashtami, Radha Ashtami, Gaur Purnima, Holi and Ekadashi; many people come here to visit it because it offers spectacular artworks depicting deities and holy stories that take place around these days.

    How To Reach: Sec-18 Noida Metro Station is the nearest stop by subway (5.4 km away). Nearest Railway Station is the Anand Vihar Station (13.2 km away) and the Indira Gandhi International Airport is at 35.2 km from ISKCON.

    Best Time To Visit: During the Janmashtami festival and Radhastmi. They also have a 24-hour kirtan on Ekadashi
    Other Attractions: They have many programs where you can get involved (specific ones for the youth, special discourses, campus preaching, Sunday love feasts, programs on parenting and the like). They also have their famous vegetarian restaurant Govindas for delicious refreshments. They house guest houses too and a huge hall for celebrations.

    5. Ayyappa Temple:

    A temple to Lord Ayyappa stands in the city of Noida, keeping watch over it and its inhabitants. The construction of the temple was completed in 2002 – but this is only one aspect which makes it special. This small place holds great significance for parents all over India because children who study here always seem to do better than expected when they continue on their path towards a successful career. All people can experience blissful harmony through prayer at the Ayyappa Temple – even if you don’t have any ambitions or worries about academia whatsoever; just being here can make you feel happy and full of life.

    How To Reach: Indira Gandhi International Airport is the nearest airport to fly into Delhi and then head to Noida post that via public transport etc. Airport to Noida is around 25 Km. Once in Noida, you can take a cab or auto to the temple. By subway, the Golf Course Metro Station is near.

    Best Time To Visit: During Navaratri (September-October) and on Vijaya Dashami morning.
    Other Attractions: Kalindi Kunj and ISKON temple can be visited post.

    6. Arya Samaj Mandir:

    Arya Samaj Mandir of Noida provides a sacred space for couples who choose to tie the knot. Weddings at this temple follow Vedic principles, which require minimal paperwork and ceremony. This process takes an hour or two depending on how many visitors there are. Requirements include age verification documentation and being over 18 years old in order to enter the mandap.

    Flowers and sweets may be brought inside before the ceremony begins; however these items cannot be taken back outside after they have been offered as per tradition. Couples looking to get married at this location need to ensure they meet these basic requirements or will risk being turned away from proceedings due to noncompliance.

    7. Noida Kali Bari:

    One of the most crucial Bengali temples in the area, this breathtaking temple is just full to capacity with tradition. You’ll often hear the loud sound of drums echoing through its hallways, and you can feel it all – from regal dances and traditional clothing to daily rituals. The Kali Bari at Noida was erected by the Bengal Association for Noida themselves; running it as well. This place holds India’s most sacred icon – goddess Kali herself. Around this holy site are celebrations for festivals like Durga Pooja or Navratri, Maha Kali Puja- just about anything!

    How To Reach: Noida sec 18 and Noida sec 16 are subway stations near to the temple. Indira Gandhi International Airport is the nearest airport to fly into Delhi and then head to Noida post that via public transport etc. it takes around 1 hour to reach from the airport (26 Km).

    Best Time To Visit: Kali Puja time when great festivities are organized
    Other Attractions: They have an active cultural organization which hosts singing classes and dance classes and teach the Bengali language as well. They also have dharamshala facilities for guests coming in from outside as temple devotees. They host programs for the talented in Noida to get a platform to showcase their talents and perform.

    8. Immanuel Marthoma Church:

    Immanuel Marthoma Church was built in the city of Noida in the year 1989 which increased the heritage and culture of the city. The present Vicar of the church is Reverend Dr Abraham Matthew and the bishop is Rt. Reverend Dr Abraham Mar Paulose. The church functions a Sunday school and a choir. It also holds regular masses every week. One of the top spots for Christians to visit in Noida and even otherwise, one can expect a calm atmosphere when visiting this church. It has a legacy of over 2 decades and offers great architecture too.

    Other Attractions: Mosque and Imam Bargah is nearby for those following Islam. Amongst other attractions, Noida also houses a water park and a beautiful botanical garden.

    9. Peer Baba Ki Mazar:

    Peer Baba Ki Mazar located in Noida is a favourite pilgrimage spot for Islamic people mostly. The Mazar is dedicated to Peer Baba and devotees who come to the place gain peace and serenity. Peer Baba was a famous saint. Irrespective of their religious beliefs, pilgrims are drawn towards this holy place to seek blessings from the almighty.
