Recently, Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior opened at theaters and ever since it has been selling out consistently. Opening with a promising performance, viewers have liked the film so much they’ve continually gone back for more throughout its entire run. And now, even though less than two weeks remain until release, on top of all this they’ve already crossed Rs. 200 crores at the box office!
If that isn’t enough – consider that within Mumbai itself, business for Tanhaji is nearing crossing Rs. 100 crores as well! With popular demand rising every day and previous earnings being made tax free in certain areas (though sadly not everywhere), there’s no doubt about it; this movie will earn close to Rs. 250 crores before long!
Back within the Mumbai Circuit, Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior appears poised to cross Rs. 100 cr., making it one of the top five movies to achieve this feat. Though at present, the list is led by Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion (Rs. 191.58 cr), Tiger Zinda Hai (Rs. 109.08 cr), PK (Rs. 105.2cr), Dangal (Rs. 104.22cr), and Sanju (Rs. 102)2 cr,) there is still an expectation that Tanhaji will close in on a spot among these heavyweights over the course of this coming weekend, even if only for now [and then] ranking third or fourth out of five competitors come Monday morning when all figures are finalized].
