It has been an astounding journey for Tannhaeji- The Unsung Warrior. Despite it being a fixed film, which continues to find patronage among audiences in a big way, the movie is still performing exceptionally well on a day-to-day basis. This is evidenced in the third week as well, what with the footfalls being immensely high once again. If Friday was decent at Rs. 5.38 crores, collections gathered by the film on Saturday were amongst the best of its kind ever recorded in history.
The film managed to collect Rs. 9.52 crores in just three days, an incredible amount considering how quickly it was made. Most content based films rake up this much money after opening weekend; but then again, most of them don’t come close to the achievement made by a ‘commercial film’ such as Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior.
The Ajay Devgn starring film was now even better off for its tax-free status – and especially so in Maharashtra. There is really no stopping this film which has made Rs. 212.35 crores already, beating Ajay Devgn’s previous highest grossing film Golmaal Again (Rs. 205.69 crores) in only fifteen days time!
