After last week’s successful debut, it would seem that Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior will only continue to grow stronger. As each day passes there seem to be higher levels of profit coming in, and every day is surpassing the previous by an even larger amount. On Monday alone, there were Rs. 13.75 crore worth of tickets sold when Friday had been at about Rs. 15 crores worth of sales; surely a good sign for the film industry as a whole! Tuesday has not disappointed either with another Rs. 1 crore added on to that bringing its total so far to over 16 crore rupees (almost $3 million).
The film managed to amass an impressive Rs. 90.96 crores at the box office within a short span of two weeks from its release, which means that it is on its way to becoming one of India’s highest-grossing films ever. With such enthusiasm for a newcomer like Om Raut who directed the project, Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan would hope for one of their best projects yet. As of now, Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior has crossed Rs 150 Crore at Box Office collection in three days after its release where people are eagerly waiting to find out if the film can reach Rs 200 Crores club or even more.
