In the second week of its showing, Tanhaji:The Unsung Warrior has been performing admirably. On Friday alone, it earned Rs. 10.06 crores which is a strong performance considering that on Thursday night it collected only Rs. 11.23 crore rupees. There is barely any drop in numbers and now the total stands at Rs. 128.97 crore rupees – enough to be able to cross over the 150 crore rupee benchmark before this coming Sunday evening closes out this decade-old decade old year!
That would certainly be an unbelievable achievement for Ajay Devgn’s latest release, proving time and time again how well loved he still remains by his diehard fans all over India! With no other big releases up against it – such as Jai Mummy Di – there was nothing standing in the way of continued glory for Om Raut’ s latest action flick starring one of Bollywood’s most loved stars!
Last year’s release, Uri: The Surgical Strike, managed to hit Rs. 244.20 crores after a relatively low start. It is unlikely that this film will reach such heights but if it manages to enter the 200 Crore Club then all together it will still be quite an achievement for the production company behind Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
