This movie is holding up exceedingly well. Even after a three-day holiday stretch, Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior has managed to stay afloat on the weekdays as well. As evident in Monday’s revenues of Rs 4.03 crores, the movie seems to be maintaining its grip with ease, considering Friday’s numbers of Rs 5.38 crores.
What also gives an indication of how successfully Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior has been doing so far is that despite being released earlier than Street Dancer 3D (July 31), it has collected nearly half of what the Ajay Devgn starrer managed within one day! Starting Wednesday or even Tuesday itself, we may see that Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior will surpass the Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor dance film at the box office and reclaim its position as reigning champion among Indian movies starring males.
The Om Rauth directed blockbuster has now collected Rs. 228.96 crores already and will be at the halfway point for its goal of Rs. 240 crores by this Friday. After that, people are expecting that it’ll surpass a whopping Rs. 250 crore mark before close of fourth weekend; if not even more than Rs. 275 crore too!
