As a Tamil actress, I wanted to explore what other actresses do. You may know already that most actors prefer to wear Western clothing such as jeans or shorts, but did you also know there were some who would always come in traditional Indian clothes like the saree? Here are some of my favorite actors who never let go of their Indian tradition:
10+ Pics of Tamil Heroines In Saree:
We can’t seem to stop talking about these beautiful Tamil actresses wearing sarees lately. We’ve gathered a few of them for you below.
Anchal In Blue Saree:
Anchal looked stunning in her blue transparent sari. It was made of a net fabric with gold embroidered embellishments all over it, including the border. The only thing that distinguished it from every other sari- besides its color and pattern – was the absence of sleeves for her shirt.
Shraddha Das In Blue Designer Saree:
Actress Shraddha Rao looks amazing in this blue and gold designer saree. Made from chiffon material, it is both comfy to wear and easy to drape. Moreover, the blouse is sleeveless, which also makes it a popular buy among the trendy Indian fashionistas!
Keerthi Blue Designer Half Saree:
She looked as green as ever, revealing her amazing powers along with a vibrant and beautiful aura. The teal blue saree she was wearing shimmered because of the innumerable hours spent weaving it. Her blouse also had intricate work done on it which made it look mesmerizing.
Regina Cassandra In Black Net Saree:
She made an appearance at the audio function of her upcoming film Ra Ra Krishnayya wearing a black fancy georgette saree embellished with sequins. She paired this attire with a spaghetti strap blouse also in black.
Punarnavi In Pink Lahnga Saree:
Tamil actress Punarnavi Bhupalam shines brightly in a sexy black and white lehenga saree. This attire features a plain pink pallu with cherry blossoms adorning the borders, paired with an orange sleeveless top with beautifully embroidered flowers along its neckline.
Ashwini In Half Saree:
The Indian actress Ashwini wore a saree designed by Trisha Trends at the ramp recently. Her outfit was in shades of green and yellow – her beautiful half-sari paired with an equally elegant suit created by Amritha Mishra. After walking down the runway, this gorgeous dress will soon be available for purchase at one of Trisha Trends’ many locations spread across two major cities.
Aksha In Bridal Saree:
She was wearing a red Chennai silk bridal saree. This Kanjeevaram silk saree was deep red and had gold threads woven through it with a gold embroidered border which matched the threading of her designer blouse perfectly. She wore this because Kavitha Gutta – who works at Golden Threads- suggested it after scouting her extensively to find just the right outfit for her big day.
Sanjana In Red Saree:
Actress Sanjana from Tamil Nadu, India wore a red embroidered lehenga saree with gold borders in the company of blue and gold net pallu. The dress includes silver sequins on the edges of the borders around her waist, which match her blouse made out of deep sequins work.
Vithika Sheru In Half Saree:
She looked stunning wearing Bhargavi Kunam’s beautiful half-sari. Model and actress Vithika Sheru was present at the Mahabalipuram movie press meet where she wore a red two-piece sari created by Bhargavi Kunam, complete with an accompanying red dupatta. With the dress being styled by wardrobe stylist Anushya Rajan, her outfit had elbow-length sleeves lined in gold thread paired together with an embroidered blouse of the same color.
Priyamani in Marron and Golden Pure Silk Saree:
