Three movies are playing simultaneously, allowing people to see whichever film they want. While the theaters showing these movies cater mostly to rural audiences and small towns, even larger cities see many people come through on Saturdays and Sundays. Every day brings in an average of Rs. 8 crores in revenue for the filmmakers which is significantly higher than previous years’ box office sales during weekends.
Tadap leads the charge this week with Rs. 13.52 crores being earned after Sunday saw Rs. 5.35 crores come in – a start has been made! Numbers closer to Rs. 20 crores would have been achieved during the pre-pandemic time for this Sajid Nadiadwala production but what matters is that what’s coming in is decent enough and now also introduces us to a new hero: Ahan Shetty
