After earning 10.26 crores on the first day of its release, Street Dancer 3D showed strong growth during Saturday and Sunday only to see a dip on Monday morning after earning 4.65 crores. To ensure it remains popular throughout this week, films need to earn at least Rs. 7 crore each day starting with Monday morning- but that doesn’t seem likely as a result of Monday morning’s disappointing earnings.
Recently, there was a 50% decrease in the profits made from an Indian film. This movie includes many stars including Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar which may be why people are disappointed. Despite the poor showing at theaters so far, many viewers have enjoyed it as an entertaining movie. Yet despite only earning Rs. 45.88 crores since its release, it still has a chance of becoming profitable because of how much money is put into making these films nowadays.
While this particular movie might not do well at the box office, other movies starring Virat Kohli or Sachin Tendulkar will likely earn more money than this one did – so overall they can still come out ahead even if they lose some here and there along the way.
