After a respectable first day, the much-hyped Street Dancer 3D experienced a noticeable surge in business on Saturday with Rs. 13.21 crores coming in. This is an increase over Friday’s total earnings of 10.26 crores, though this number should have been higher given how well Street Dancers 3D did on its opening day – which can only be seen as a positive indicator since it hints at the potential for even more success going forward
The Dance Film has raked in Rs. 23.47 crores so far and Rs. 40 crores will come easily without being too close to the limit of Rs. 45 crores after this weekend is over, we’ll just have to see how much closer it gets to 50crore mark in first three days of release, with Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior still running strong and Panga finding some traction at the box-office as well, Street Dancer 3D has lost out on earning up to 10 Crore more than what would’ve been possible had there no competition coming from these movies during opening weekdays
Nonetheless, what matters is that the film is being enjoyed by audiences and that should help it reach success.
