Steven Cook, also known as Steve Cook, is a popular body builder and two time Mr. Olympia finalist. The Quiff Haircut he sported was often imitated by his followers who admired his talent. A quiff haircut is characterized by a short back and side with long fringe on top of the head; this style can be achieved with or without facial hair -though in Steven’s case he would always wear it alongside his trademark medium-length beard and mustache.

    Steve Cook Career

Cook was born on November 5th, 1962. His love for lifting weights started as early as 12 years old – something he enjoyed doing so much that he spent time practicing for every chance to enter in a power-lifting or bodybuilding competition. Cook would practice his skills well enough that by the time he turned 16, Cook had already won many local competitions including the Teenage Massachusetts State Championship (which took place in Lowell). From there, at 17 years old, Cook then went on to win the Night of Champions Contest (held in NYC) – which solidified him as one of America’s strongest athletes.

He made his return to competition in 1989 when he competed in the Battle of Atlanta. He took second place to Kevin Levrone, who would go on to win that year’s Mr. Olympia title; a testament to what this man could achieve if given enough time.

It wasn’t until 1992 when Cook would win his very first pro victory at The Battle of Atlanta. Once again coming in second place behind Flex Wheeler, who he became friends with and trained alongside for the next couple years before they both retired once again due to injury sustained while training for the Mr. Olympia contest in 1995.

Steve Cook has the quiff hairstyle. This modern-day classic started in the 50s and continues to be a favorite among many men today. It’s slightly less formal than its pompadoured counterpart, but still prominent nonetheless. You can wear this hairstyle with or without facial hair – which was made famous by Steve (though he prefers no beard). But either way it always looks good when you have tons of volume at the front and short sides at the back.

One day, when jazz musicians shaved their heads on one side of their head and let the other half grow out into shaggy locks, it soon became a trend for rockabilly singers to do so too. Slowly but surely these hairstyles made themselves known in mainstream culture until it reached its peak in popularity.

Today, this hairstyle is still a popular option for men looking to express themselves through style without having to worry about styling it every day.

    Quiff haircut

Quiffs are known as these hairstyles that are cut up to the side and back down to create a diagonal pattern. They’re incredibly flexible in terms of what they will work with – this includes men who have different types of hair. This iconic look dates back centuries; but it became popular during the 50s when new variations began popping up left right and centre. Although there have been many changes, such as length and texture, some things remain – like its signature quiff style which consists of cropped sides at an even length and longer lengths on top (typically styled upward).

    What Is a Quiff?

A quiff is a form of pompadour hairstyle made famous by Marcel Rouff, an artist who worked at Le Lido cabaret in Paris. The word quiff originated from the Old English word coif meaning cap or bonnet; thus these styles are most commonly worn by men. These styles are achieved by sweeping up long locks on top and shaping them into an exaggerated beehive type look.

    What Is a Quiff?
In the 1950s, Elvis Presley popularized this hairstyle which became known as The Elvis Presley Haircut. After performing on The Ed Sullivan Show wearing it slicked back with pomade to create volume and height at the front of his head, he took America by storm; and suddenly everyone wanted a similar do.

How to get the Quiff haircut?

Quiffs are hairstyles that can range anywhere from a full head of hair to a few inches. They’re styled upwards and towards the back, with or without bangs; they may also be parted or brushed backwards. Celebrities such as Elvis Presley, James Dean and Frank Sinatra have all rocked this style throughout their career, making it an iconic style within the last century. If you want to try out this hairstyle at home, we’ve got some pointers for how to get it done just right.

How to get the Quiff haircut?

    Quiff Haircut Tips

Choose Your Hair Length: Before you start browsing for a new hairstyle, take note of what length of hair you’re hoping to achieve. Do you want your locks to fall just above the earlobe, or do they need more room? This will determine what type of cut works best for you; whether it’s an over-the-ear style (such as Elvis Presley), or if it needs to fall somewhere in between – say around your earlobe and shoulder level (think James Dean).

    Quiff Haircut Tips
Get Straight Hair: There are two ways to do this. Either brush it out and then straighten it with a flat iron or curling iron, OR brush it out and cut the ends off so they don’t curl back up anymore.

    Conclusion

The quiff haircut is one of those cuts in the hairstyle category that will always be popular with those who crave a style that is simple yet instantly recognizable. The cut creates a look that many desire because it can be created easily and effortlessly but still holds its own iconic look.
