The latest release from Hollywood blockbuster studios, Spider-Man: No Way Home, has had a phenomenal success this past week. What with being seen everywhere from the international markets to this country’s own theaters – it seems like everyone wants to see what marvels await them in this exhilarating film. It only opened a few days ago but already it has surpassed over $500 million [Rs. 3673 crore] in the box office earnings since March 15th; making it one of the most financially successful films ever made.
Collecting $342 million [Rs. 2,542 cr.] internationally and $253 million [$1,925 cr] in America, Spider-Man: No Way Home has grossed an astonishing $587.2 million [$4,471 cr] worldwide. Surprisingly enough, these figures were all accumulated during the first week of release as opposed to making less than that over a much longer span of time. At present time, Spider-Man: No Way Home currently stands among one of the highest-grossing films in history; one which was met with both critical acclaim and popular reception alike – all of which are predicted to only continue growing for weeks on end after its international debut last Friday (December 7).
When looking at box office records alone however – it is unsurprising that people would predict such things given how closely December 25th falls following December 7th when we know more children will have money for movie tickets than any other day throughout year.
