With 150 crores coming in its extended 8 day week, Tom Holland starrer Spider-Man: No Way Home is on track to do blockbuster business in India. This is inline with the kind of collections that the Marvel superhero film is enjoying worldwide – everywhere it has opened. And so far, it’s turned out to be one of those movies that have grossed the most money all over world – surpassing others in the making – becoming an epidemic all across planet Earth.
The film got off to a promising start on Thursday, retaining viewers during the weekend and getting steady crowds even during weekday showings. This past Tuesday proved successful for the second half of the opening week. By this Friday, we could see an increase of up to Rs. 25 crores which puts us at over 173 crore rupees worldwide- all within two weekends!
With such success here in India, it won’t be long before we cross 200 crore rupees domestically; however with so many other films vying for viewership next week- as well as new releases such as 83, Jersey, RRR- it will be up to them whether or not this epic win continues even longer.
Note: All collections come from various sources including but not limited to production
