The Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi directed by Rohit Shetty has been doing exceptionally well at the Box Office ever since it released over a month ago. As one of the biggest films to come out after the Second Lockdown, many people were expecting this film to do extremely well; but it exceeded all expectations. And now it looks like this movie is unstoppable.
In its fourth weekend running, the biggest stride made in terms of box-office numbers was Sooryavanshi. While this may seem insignificant given that there are much higher grossing movies on release right now, it is worth noting that Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty’s movie has fewer screens than most others. Consequently, each admission yields higher earnings for the film. Now standing at Rs. 193 crore- this collection does not seem so far fetched when one realizes how close it will soon be to earning another two crore rupees before going any further towards breaking even or reaching any other milestones.
